L’espoli a les Terres de l’Ebre continua malgrat les excepcionals pluges. Maig 13, 2008
La Plataforma en Defensa de l’Ebre (PDE) va considerar avui un ‘espoliació’ a les Terres de l’Ebre l’operació de portar aigua en vaixell fins a Barcelona, segons va afirmar el portaveu d’aquest moviment social, Manolo Tomàs, qui va definir aquesta iniciativa com una ‘operació típica de corsaris’.
Segons Tomàs, el ‘objectiu’ del Govern ha estat sempre portar una canonada a Barcelona, i va considerar que ara, després de les pluges, el Decret de Sequera aquesta ’superat’. Va afegir que la Generalitat necessita una ‘excusa per justificar la lliura de 200 milions a unes empreses molt concretes, encapçalades per Agbar’. Aquesta iniciativa servirà així per a ‘beneficiar a determinades caixes i entitats financeres’, va sostenir. 
‘El que hi ha és un transvasament de diners publico a empreses privades, com volia de mateix fer el PP, i molt ens temem que, amb l’excusa que estan gestionant la sequera, s’estan condonant deutes electorals i polítiques’, va apuntar.
La PDE va sostenir que, si s’aprova portar aigua del Consorci d’Aigües de Tarragona (CAT), en vaixell a Barcelona, serà el principi del ‘transvasament de l’Ebre’.
En aquest sentit, el PDE ha convocat per al dijous una mobilització davant la seu del CAT en la Ampolla (Tarragona), on se celebrarà l’assemblea que ha d’aprovar el Decret de Sequera i portar aigua de l’Ebre a Barcelona en vaixell. A més, diumenge, tindrà lloc una manifestació a Amposta (Tarragona) que ja compta amb més de 150 adhesions d’entitats i associacions de Catalunya i Aragó.

CALGARY, ALBERTA, May 12, 2008 (MARKET WIRE via COMTEX News Network) —-Eurogas Corporation (“Eurogas” or the “Corporation”) (TSX VENTURE: EUG) today announced its financial results for the three months ending March 31, 2008. The Corporation earned $101 thousand during the quarter.
In Spain, in accordance with agreements signed December 20, 2007, control of Escal and the Castor project has passed to ACS Servicios Comunicaciones y Energia, S.L. (“ACS”). ACS is responsible for any funding required and spent $851 thousand during the first quarter. ACS has agreed that, within 25 days of the grant of the Development Concession, it will repay to CLP most of the amount of its prior investment in the Castor Project which is approximately EUR 30 million (approximately $49 million using the March 31 exchange rate) of which approximately $44 million will be net to Eurogas.
In Tunisia, the Corporation invested $1.3 million during the quarter. Subsequent to the end of the quarter the Corporation announced that, along with its operating partner Atlas Petroleum Exploration Worldwide Ltd. (“APEX”), it had entered into a Farmout Agreement with Delta Hydrocarbons B.V. (“Delta”) with respect to the Sfax permit. The agreement has received all regulatory approvals. Under the agreement, Delta has committed to spend US$125 million on the Sfax permit for a 50% participation. Included in this amount, and as part of the transaction, Eurogas and APEX will be entitled to repayment of past exploration costs incurred on the permit, of which approximately US$11 million is net to the Corporation. Upon meeting its expenditure commitments, Delta would own a 50% participating interest in the farmout area, the Corporation would own a 22.5% participating interest and APEX would own a 27.5% participating interest.

El nivell dels embassaments de la conca Ter-Llobregat acumulen ja 200 Hm3, mentre es manté el no transvassament de l’Ebre. Maig 13, 2008
El nivell dels embassaments del sistema Ter-Llobregat segueix creixent i ja acumulen 199,94 hm3, quan ahir tenien 170,75 hectòmetres cúbics d’aigua, cada cop s’esta més NO TAN A PROP del límit de 165 hectòmetres cúbics fixats per sortir del nivell d’excepcionalitat-II, que restringeix l’ús d’aigua potable per regar i omplir piscines. Cal arribar als 300 hm3 per sortir d’excepcionalitat I, i amb 270hm3 s’entra a excepcionalitat I.
Segons que ha informat avui l’Agència Catalana de l’Aigua, l’última actualització del nivell dels pantans de les conques internes catalanes a les 12:50h, demostra que les copioses pluges caigudes als últims dies a Catalunya han tingut un efecte excepcionalment beneficiós per als embassaments, que ja estan al 28,79%, quan ahir estaven al 27,86% de la seva capacitat.
A més, els cinc embassaments que integren el sistema Ter-Llobregat -el de Sau, el de Susqueda, el de la Baells, el de la Llosa del Cavall i el de Sant Ponç-, ja acumulen 199,94 hm3, ahir 170,75 hectòmetres cúbics d’aigua, amb el que excedeixen amb 35 hm3 el límit de 165 hectòmetres cúbics establert per poder sortir del nivell d’excepcionalitat-II.
Es manté el no transvassament malgrat estar els embassaments NO TAN A PROP de l’estat d’emergència requerit pel Reial Decret Llei, per poder fer servir la canonada. Des del Govern d’Aragó ja s’ha anunciat que es reclamarà aturar el NO transvassament de l’Ebre, al no trobar-se el sistema Ter-Llobregat en estat d’emergència -el qual s’activaria si els embassaments es trobaren per sota del 20%-.
L’embassament de Sau està al 23,36% de la seva capacitat amb 38,61hm3.
Susqueda (Osor) té 69,17 hm3 la qual cosa suposa un 29,69% de la seva capacitat.
la Baells (Cercs) té 38,89 hm3 la qual cosa suposa un 35,54% de la seva capacitat.
